Michael and Tara Gallina met while working at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York's Hudson Valley.

United by their shared last name (Gallina is latin for hen) and talent for creating delicious and memorable dining experiences, they are excited to introduce Rooster and the Hen, a culinary concept that seeks to delight eaters through thoughtfulness; for the way our food is grown and raised, to the care and warmth in which it's served.

How two driven and hungry individuals became an unstoppable team in life and the kitchen.

 

We create pop-up dining experiences and collaborative dinners with friends old and new, explore the world through food and travel, and will soon put roots down in St. Louis as restauranteurs.
